Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TalentSift (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

TalentSift is an AI-powered recruitment screening tool that allows recruiters to upload candidate CVs, input job descriptions, and receive AI-generated rankings and assessments of candidate suitability. The Service uses artificial intelligence to extract requirements from job descriptions and match them against candidate profiles.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on third-party rights
• Use the Service to discriminate against candidates on the basis of protected characteristics
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models or algorithms
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service beyond normal usage
• Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account

5. Payment Terms

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Payments are processed via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — please contact us if you believe you are entitled to a refund. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and AI models, is owned by TalentSift. You retain ownership of any content you upload (CVs, job descriptions). By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of providing the Service. AI outputs (rankings, summaries, assessments) are provided for your use but do not constitute professional advice.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. AI-generated assessments are tools to assist your decision-making and should not be the sole basis for hiring decisions. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
